Our Dying Light 2 tests came in at 151 FPS which is significantly below both RTX 2080’s 177 FPS as well as AMD RX 6600’s 174 FPS scores; however this doesn’t reflect real world performance as most games can make them playable!

NVIDIA GTX 1070

NVIDIA’s GTX 1070 graphics card offers outstanding value for the price, providing outstanding gaming performance at 1080p resolution with reasonable frame rates. Furthermore, this model can run 1440p games smoothly while handling 60Hz refresh rate monitors as well. At our benchmarks, the GTX 1060 6GB showed impressive performance in Biomutant and Doom Eternal. With the default quality preset set at 1080p resolution and medium or low quality settings enabled, it achieved highly playable frame rates at 1080p with highly playable frame rates exceeding 60fps at 1440p resolution – even surpassing 60 fps!

Biomutant was one of the best test cases of the GTX 1060’s abilities to match or beat its Radeon RX 580 counterpart, generally outpacing it. Although a few frames slower in extreme low and ultra low quality settings than its rival GPU, overall this powerful GPU still provided very fast gameplay performance.

NVIDIA GTX 1050

The NVIDIA GTX 1050 is a mid-range graphics card built on Pascal architecture. It comes equipped with 640 CUDA cores and 2GB of GDDR5 memory for maximum performance, clocking in at 1291MHz with optional overclocking up to 1392MHz; 75 Watts are drawn from PCIe slot; DisplayPort 1.4a output is supported; its dimensions measure 145mm length by 111mm width – making this dual slot card an attractive proposition.

PCI Express 3.0 x16 connects this card to other components within your system and has one DVI, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4a port to connect various displays, plus DirectX 12 support.

As opposed to previous NVIDIA cards, the GTX 1050 lacks an auxiliary 6-pin power connector – meaning its power intake is limited by what its PCI-E slot can supply, without GeForce Boost providing any additional headroom.

Even so, the GTX 1050 outperforms AMD’s RX 460 by approximately 10% on average while also using significantly less power – making it particularly suitable for budget buyers and testament to Pascal architecture’s efficiency.
